I’d love to read a writeup about that some time. That’s a beautiful piece of machinery right there!

That thing looks like a Trailblazer of the same vintage that’s just a little...... special.
I’m sure they will, but I really hope they don’t. I’m still super bummed they replaced the excellently named Joe Louis with Little Caesar’s Arena.
I absolutely love this book. It’s not just my favorite car book, it’s my all-time favorite book of any kind.
I get this weird feeling with LaW, that may be way off base, but I’ll share it here. I just have a sneaking suspicion that he’s just not that interesting. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned that, for dates, exciting beats pleasant. However, this is also true about potential partners. The way…
Dude I’m still weirded out when the higher trim levels with more power are the smaller engine, a la Civic.
I bought one of these things. My roommates and I go see a movie every Tuesday at our local MJR because the popcorn is free on Tuesdays. Then they released the new pricing, and I bought one right away. I gotta admit, it’s a cool feeling being able to walk in to my nearly empty theater with a “free” (it feels free)…
I’m totally down with this. To me, when I was a kid, Lamborghini meant “totally fucking crazy.” I think they’ve lost some of this over the past decade and now they just seem like really nice Audis or whatever. This could be a nice injection of crazy I think they desperately need.
Whoah, that render with body panels on looks like the freaking Batmobile.
I’m surprised to not see garlic powder. Yes, using fresh garlic is amazing but a lot of times the powder is necessary too as a quick “this needs something.....”
2nd Gear: That sounds like awesome news for many of us Jalops on the lookout for the next great gently used car that fell way down the depreciation hole.
Not to mention the fact that FCA just poured huge sums of money into the JL. It would be hilariously stupid to sell Jeep before they got to see that investment pay off (since you know that thing is just going to print money).
FCA would be silly to sell off it’s most profitable brand. The only other thing that would be left to keep them afloat is Ram, which is a terrifying prospect.
Oh thank God. Those fuzzy pictures yesterday made this thing look nastier than Mamma June on a hot summer day. Now that we’ve seen actual pictures of this thing, I really like it.
If the chicken is only your friend, why are your handling its breasts?
I think a lot of people are really worried about the sup-prime auto loans since, on the surface, it looks a lot like the beginnings of the previous financial crisis. I think the important thing to keep in mind is how much smaller a piece of the market auto loans are compared to mortgages. Additionally, the real…
I always love watching the mules driving around CTC. The Fiat 124 was probably my favorite I’ve seen recently. Before they finalized production bodywork, but after the ND Miata was already released, they just used modified Miatas as their mules by just sort of duct taping the body work together.
Maybe it’s just a bad quality teaser, and maybe it will look better in the metal, but I think that thing’s just about ugly as sin.
That first render makes me feel all tingly in my giblets.
As an FCA employee that’s seen what previous purchases have done to us, I’m extremely nervous about a potential Chinese purchase. It makes me really wonder if I’ll still have a job in a few months time.
