Definitely the Shark. Have had two Bernese Mountain Dogs over the past 10 years and the 24/7 shedding has humbled two other lesser vacuums. 3 years of the Shark and still going strong. Quality built and works pretty well on all surfaces, although I find my little Dirt Devil works better on hard surfaces.

They are biodegradable but how about the heavy duty plastic bag that it’s enclosed in when it hits the landfill?
