Oh yeah, I agree. I don't think the comment is objectifying at all. As I noted at the end of my admittedly windy comment, I think the reviewer is just engaging in sexualization/realizing he has a nice bod. Nothing wrong with that.

Although I wouldn't have framed it how you did, I have to admit when I read that I remembered a comment on The Verge that had been removed for calling an actress hot.

That's true, I think you're right about Bryce/Jermaine, them walking off together makes sense due to Jermaine's isolation more than anything else. I don't really see Jermaine becoming as loosey-goosey as Jake/Fin either so they still did a good job making them seem differentiated.

I did ignore the daddy issues too much in my analysis, but I see that as part of a re-tread of past AT themes.

You know reading reviews like this is why I feel alienated from my own culture. I'm 21, in my senior year of college, and I'm part of a generation that is more liberal in many of its beliefs even if it still has a relatively shallow idea of what progressivism is.
