She was great in PCU as well.  Right up there with John Vernon’s Dean Wormer.

I have to say, I came into the finale NOT wanting Jonah and Amy to get back together, but I feel these episodes made a solid case that Jonah and Hannah weren’t going to really work out, and that Jonah and Amy should be together

... Or Octopii.

As much fun as Tudyk is obviously having on Resident Alien, Wetterlund’s Darcy is my favorite part of the show.

Dan Schneider is a fascinating figure whose influence on youth television has yet to be fully unraveled, much like the extent of what an asshole he is. 

My one hope for all of this: I never have to hear about the fucking Snyder Cut again. I generally try not to yuck other people’s yum. I get that Snyder’s style is not appealing to me and that’s fine. Enjoy what you enjoy.

Man from Uncle is much more fun that it should be, in part because of Cavill.

It is a reasonable explanation, certainly, but one could argue that the exact same result could’ve been achieved by casting any actor other than Taylor-Johnson

I forgot Naomie Harris was in this movie. Wasting her talent is both a terrible crime and a really popular activity in filmmaking.

Don’t think it’s controversial to say that every Pirates movie is worse than the previous one.

No better way for me to lose my enthusiasm for a new Melissa McCarthy movie than finding out that her husband wrote/directed it. God bless them, they seem like they’re very happy, but he is killing any momentum she once had with these god-awful movies. 

I loved that Huntress, a woman who trained to kill and dedicated herself to revenge, clearly hadn’t had normal social interactions growing up and it showed.

He did spend a good chunk of his life in San Antonio, IIRC. (Aside: trying to figure out where in Austin the opening sequence in The Last of Us took place was very fun.) I imagine he’ll do just fine if he does a more serious version of his Agent Whiskey voice.

Who knows how much it'll have changed by now, but I remember getting a Full Spectrum Warrior feeling from what they showed. Very slow and methodical than your Call of Dutys and and Battlefields
