Yeah and the way that game auto saves on a single save while not allowing you to make more, you can find yourself out of luck. Something that can’t happen in fire emblem you always can have a save to fall back on.

After reading some other comments I am borrowing the term “pseudo-permadeath” for people that reset. Seems more appropriate. Someone was alive, they died, you reset, they are alive again. Doesn’t seem very “permanent” to me.
.
I like calling it “psuedo-permadeth” can we make that a thing? Nothing bothers me more than all the people that reset pulling out their e-peen’s and saying “I play with permadeath on.” Its like, well your guy died, you reset and now he’s alive. Doesn’t seem very permanent to me.
Its actually quite easy to be screwed in xcom if your only option is to recruit rookies when you are deep into the game.
And that is damn near 99% of them. That is what i liked about Xcom “ironman” mode, it was constantly saving in a single file to make that short of cheese impossible.
So you are here telling people to play with “permadeath” on yet it seems here you clearly reset the level on a death. Maybe it should be called “deathreset” or something else to distinguish the method for circumventing the supposed “permanent” death mechanic.
The list for what is “heretical for FE purists” is constantly growing. The community has never been more toxic about telling everyone else how they must play the game.
And walked through 20 miles of snow to get to school.
I really appreciate you using the term “self-censored” instead of language like I see nonsensically used often in the comments about this topic.
Clearly traveled.
I heard he just got an offer from the 76ers.
