He seems fun.

There was a lot of both. Charlie Parker was a genius who declined terribly with drug addiction. It was the truth.

I've seen a lot of his movies, and I can't think of examples of gay bashing. There is that bad scene in High Plains Drifter where he rapes the "bad" woman, of course.

Yea I don't see it. Letters From Iwo Jima and Flags Of Our Fathers don't fit your thesis, either. And I don't agree that Morgan Freeman's roles in Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby can be reduced that way.

Exactly. This guy made Invictus and Letters From Iwo Jima. What is going on?

Wow, the ableist angle on Million Dollary Baby is a new one for me.

Those blintzes were terrible!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Roseanne's Twitter shows she is pretty far gone herself. Still liked her a lot on Portlandia.

"Rigged game" haha. You could use the momentum to make the Democrats and Hillary better. That is, after all, what Bernie said to do.

Um, Hillary's comment was from 20 years ago…so I don't think your "4 years ago" argument is going to hold much water.

I find it hard to picture this coming from the Bridges of Madison County guy, though. Heck, he directed Invictus!

Wait, do we not like that movie now?

Ok let's not go crazy. If anything, he's underrated as a director. Calling Leone's work "cowboy movies" makes it hard to take your point seriously.

I think in Gran Torino, Clint's character changed for the better. But the movie also acknowledged that the world had passed him by, and he wasn't capable of changing completely.

He will be remembered as a screen legend and one of America's great directors, but this is pretty damning in terms of his personality.

So the "I can find plot inconsistencies so movie is bad!" argument is still a thing?

And it shows!

Dark Knight Rises is so much better than Iron Man 2. Come on.

Spike Lee wrote Do The Right Thing in 3 days.

"Terrible ideas." Loaded language. Also, the Bat was super cool.
