Sandal Candle.

Applying real-world statistics to a second-hand story told by a character set in a fictional universe. That is not a rewarding pastime, I imagine.

They apparently do.

I have heard about that. I've also heard stories from friends who've met him that he was very friendly, and even remembered their names when they were volunteering at festivals and stuff.

Charles S. Dutton is pretty important in Cookie's Fortune.

I do remember that. I disagree that quality control is gone. The last two proper Lips albums are some of their best work.

I don't agree with that, either.

I don't think Hot Lips is all that honest. Hooking up with Frank shows her to be a hypocrite.

They aren't the "stars," but there are major black characters in Nashville, Streamers, Cookie's Fortune and The Player. Heck, McCabe and Mrs. Miller has more diversity than you'd expect.

The gender politics in the film are problematic, but I don't see the racism or homophobia as much.

Is the Coyne backlash based on hanging out with Miley Cyrus? I missed the memo that he was insufferable.

Is the "racist" stuff based off the ill-conceived stuff he said in the '70's?

I'm just glad we got Stipe performing music again.

He comes off to as accusatory, fixated and mendacious in that scene to me. He's totally unprofessional, and later blames the Ghostbusters for the crisis he triggers through his irresponsible power grab. Walter Peck sucks.

"No way he gets it right."

Heath Ledger, The Joker.

Ed actually does add a lot to the sound. It just goes overlooked.

Scatterbrain is wonderful.

The sequencing gives it a more confused feeling than their other releases, for sure. Confusion was a major theme in a lot of that year's releases.

As are Vegetable and Ripcord.
