I'm pretty much watching for this. I find the songs from the album kind of cheesy really, just ripping off quotes from the people interviewed in the show and whatnot. But it is cool to see forefathers of punk and funk and country and such talk about their experiences.

Perfect analysis. I agree 100% with the bands you list. As a Detroit native, I was disappointed to see that we didn't make the 8 or 9 city cut. I learned about Bad Brains from this show, as well as a number of the others you mentioned. As far as introductory rock history shows go, there have been few better, in my recollection.
