I’ve just started The Swimming Pool Library - haven’t heard of Hollinghurst before, but trying to make an effort to read more modern gay novels. He’s a hell of a writer, and I like the thought of going through his works if I like this one enough.

I can’t tell you how long I’ve had that book on my shelf. Every time I look at it I try to will myself to get into it. The first time I ever tried to read it was on the bus coming home from the bookstore I bought it at. Unsurprisingly, that was not the correct time.

“...who taught me to be kind and fucking badass at the same time”

A+ for effort.

Peter T. Partner has just been accused of sexual misconduct.

Wow really tell me more

I saw this a few years ago here in Brisbane at the Gallery of Modern Art during one of their retrospectives. The print was from its first release, and was absolutely terrible - scratchy, jumpy, and had many of the most violent parts literally cut out of the print itself. But the audience was so much worse. I never thought I’d be this happy to see a Dikachu.

Controversial opinion: I also quite enjoy Ocean's 12.

The first song on my phone is 2-4-6-8 Motorway so I don't know what you're all complaining about.

This sounds kind of interesting, which means that, like season eight, I am going to get my heart broken again.

It's the reason Glassworks, Vivaldi's Mandolin Concerto, Debussy's Preludes and Shostakovitch's Gadfly Suite exist co-dependently on my

I've just started to get into classical music after trading up from my iPod to Spotify made it easier. I've listened already to a fair amount of Bach, Shostakovitch, Vivaldi, Debussy and Philip Glass, but my problem is that I have barely any idea of where to start with anything other than "if I hear it in a movie and

See now I feel like an idiot, but I'd like to point out that before today I knew Jerry Orbach solely from Law & Order, Crimes & Misdemeanors and Promises, Promises because I love his and Jill O'Hara's original cast recording version of I'll Never Fall in Love Again so damn much.

Five more reasons why Jerry Orbach deserves way more credit.

Did you know that Jerry Orbach was in the original Broadway production of Promises, Promises?

I naturally assumed that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be a shoo-in as Jared Kushner in Oliver Stone's inevitable Trump biopic, but now after this, I gotta say, I'm pulling for Michael Cera.

I feel the exact same way about Another Country.

I don't know how the hell they're going to censor Dario Argento's Inferno.
