This is quite unbelievably silly. As a massive fan of Souls games and part of a community based around the series I can honestly say this message thing has never bothered me. Nor anyone else I know. It added levity in difficult moments of the game, but other then that the notes were always used helpfully.

Keep your SJW nonsense out of Souls games.
