How odd! I always thought the Japanese tend to be really consciencious about letting people out of the car first before poring in themselves. Guess rush hour is the same everywhere.
This has stumped everyone here too. The current administration has been pretty hostile to the US, and there has been no real US-led push for Pemberton’s release that I’m aware of so it’s probably not external pressure (tho let’s see if Trump doesn’t start to crow about this during his rallies. He does need something…
Well he did ban diversity training for Federal agencies, citing how un-american racial sensitivity is (apparently, requiring americans to go through additional training implies a belief that America is not already perfect as it is). Kind of a stretch but points for creativity.
It does seem part of it. He certainly likes to go out of his way to surround himself with generals and soldiers and pretend to be their commander any chance he gets. Not really the actions of someone that wants nothing to do with military service.
It’s fair. Supporting Trump has long since ceased to be a political question and more of a moral one.
Counter-argument:
spelling errors are presidential.
Not that they’ve given us any cause to expect better, but they may still pursue an attempted murder charge later after they catch this guy and collect more evidence. It wouldn’t be that unusual.
What’s frustrating is how being openly racist is a f*cking fad now with these kids. Can’t we just go back to devil worship or something to piss off the normies?
It doesn’t have to be one or the other does it? She could be both a victim, trapped in shitty marriage under the threat of poverty and deportation, and wholeheartedly complicit in every evil, racist con job her family perpetrates against the American people.
The goalposts only changed if you were too blinkered by your own ethno-centric world-view.
Again, you’re dictating your own ideas of what should and should not be a part of a country’s culture based on your own values. What you blithely describe as some kind of absurd royal battle royale are a people’s history.
First off, do you then support the destruction of monuments to Slave-owner George Washington? Because I’m not seeing anyone calling for that states-side outside a few extremists. If you’re one of those, then more power to you, but surely you can see why reasonable people might choose to ignore the darker aspects of…
Not so much defending them. I’m just taking issue with someone who is not of a particular culture seeing fit to dictate what people should and shouldn’t preserve from their national and cultural identity. Especially someone from a culture that sees fit to obsess over Kardashians with the same fervor the many Europeans …
Human beings are not ‘cultural heritage’.
Eh. Royals being funded are essentially public cultural works being funded. It’s not really something someone not of that country or culture can understand the whole value of. Maybe they’re worth it, maybe they’re not.
No, your exploitive economy and an entire underclass of minorities does. But don’t feel bad, I’m sure in a hundred years, the Kardashian family will have the kind of historical and cultural relevance to the US that Europe has from their royals. At least the taxes money you saved go to healthcare and such, right?
Indeed. They should obsess over the Kardashians, like civilized people.
Because the target market in the narrative needs to live sufficiently far away that they can’t check on the story’s veracity? I imagine Arizona may as well be Neverland to someone invested in the story of a bisexual native american professor.
