For someone posing as literate, this is a markedly illiterate thing to say. Whatever one thinks of King, even casual readers would know it gets way worse than him. I mean, the hordes of King-knockoff authors alone…

I find it hard to believe he took the role simply for a paycheck. Signing on was a huge gamble, and if it DID succeed, he'd be devoting lots of time to the movies going forward.
Why you gotta be wrong like that?
Lynch never intended that to be the end of the series. Even if it didn't continue on television, his plan was to wrap things up with three films, FWWM being the first one.
And still nobody notices that there's something wrong with him.
I kinda hope that if Richard Horne is coming to the Roadhouse, he's bringing dynamite.
It didn't subvert my expectations… as much as I like the character, it makes complete sense that she'd end up in a dysfunctional relationship one way or another.
I love that the 4chan-tier scum that support shit like this become so skeptical when you start discussing Russia. They'll swallow any and all innuendo about Hillary Clinton running a kiddie sex dungeon out of a pizza shop, but Trump colluding with Russia? It's just too far fetched! You're gonna have to do better than…
Oh God. Some people will not let go of the "both sides are the same!" security blanket for anything. The far left is silly. The far right makes their toxic fringe figures elected officials. When Democrats nominate Kathy Griffin to be their presidential nominee, then you can start in with this nonsense.
::Rellen Gibbons turns back to the Berlin Alexanderplatz marathon playing on one TV, while My Dinner With Andre plays another TV right next to it::
Brandon Brindle in the other reply summarized it quite well! That "Latinx" works best when typed is a huge caveat, I think, and points toward its broader impracticality. In trying to be inclusive, people have created a word that is markedly Anglocentric.
That last bit is likely not true. The term may have been coined by Hispanic people, but it almost certainly originated in the United States. Which, given the unworkability of actually using "Latinx" in Spanish, makes sense.
If people got to choose ONLY an HBO or Amazon subscription, how many do you honestly think would go with Amazon?
"Not only did Amazon have the foresight to have black people in key
creative roles for a story about the lingering effects of slavery in
America…"
"…with the kind of fervor that would’ve no doubt riled up a young Kurt Cobain"
"Mary Sue" really has become a meaningless pejorative. It's like "cuck" for people who want to complain about franchises.
I hope it never comes, because it would be the most obvious thing in the world. Mad King redux? So boring.
So I guess Vangelis himself turned them down, huh? Kind of weird, if so. Wikipedia tells me he's still out there composing.
I marathoned ALL the movies last month and will impregnate a member of your family just to spite you!
A Cenaformer better be fighting The Rock and The Furious by 2022.
