they do sell cars, they’re what you’d call an aspirational manufacturer. think of them like Ferrari in the early days, at least that’s Jim’s hope, and he’s certainly putting his money where his mouth is, not sure why people feel the need to denigrate him, its not like he’s Kolles or something.

why are you such a loser

really dont get the societal trend of dumping on space force. what does space force do? im pretty sure its a focused effort to continue to advance our military strategy in the context of an expanding frontier (space). When aerial warfare become a major part of the playing field, we carved out the air force. That’s

there is no enforced cost cap, but that is a great idea.

literally is though

Brad’s a casual racing fan at best, check out his back catalog he rarely exhibits more than a surface level knowledge of motorsport. Which is fine but if you want more sophisticated technical analysis I’d go elsewhere

2 points.

electric cars are expensive and producing them in the US even more so. Tesla struggles to make a profit as it is, the guy is trying make something crazy work so its not surprising they cut some corners.

there certainly seems to be a lot more explicitly unnecessary flair nowadays, although you’re right its definitely not new. I do appreciate the cleanliness of a porsche 911, for example, and that really stands out.

reallyyy grasping at straws here, who knows why it was there last year, but we can only speculate... The FBI’s long and shady history notwithstanding, the thing was already there, its pretty cut and dry. Is it weird that someone put a noose up anyways, at any point? Yeah, but to continue to make it a story about race

what you define as good and what others do are not the same thing. I wish there was more clean

1st - Sorry i know news is slow these days but this is literally the oldest news ever. We’ve known the rotary is coming back, probably as a range-extender, probably in this car, for some time now.

sometimes i wonder if you even watch racing. successful clickbait for sure. i watched every single race the delta wing entered. it sucked - ass. it definitely did not crash well, could barely match the speed of the prototypes, let alone open wheel cars. at the track we’d laugh every time it came around. almost

Hypercar isn’t that expensive - its far cheaper than LMP1, the manufacturers like to whine about it still being too much, and yet none have really lined up for DPi either... I think if the WEC calendar can be structured correctly with compelling events, and IMSA can allow those same prototypes at their existing events

For all the other SUV’s I’d rather own, are there any that carry the weight of the name Escalade?? If Ford can whore out mustang branding to an e-SUV, I think Cadillac can take some liberties and cash in on their former emotion...

could not. agree. more! this place looks freaking sickkkkkkk. I don’t care if passing will difficult, I much prefer the spectacle of a truly interesting race track to the DRS circus. Plus - next years cars will be a bit slower, and bit less aero sensative, so I’m reserving judgement on its race-worthiness until 2021...

you said it dude, I still roll over here once in a while out of habit but those days are dwindling, its all outrage police, and poor motorsports knowledge on top of it. Pass.

its a sports car, a Porsche, that gets 69 mpg (-e), and that’s - “not great. At all”? I think you’ve answered your own question - most people don’t need the range, my mom drives an i3 and does a max of about 30 miles on her average trip. While its certainly not impressive in terms of efficiency compared to the Tesla,

the movie takes place in the 1960's. Was this that healthiest era of masculinity in western culture? of course not. but don’t expect it to be a social justice piece. Its a story about freaking car companies, going racing of all things, in an era where women had barely been allowed out of the house yet. I thought the
