Seems like a lot of the programs most popular among women audiences devote a lot of plot, screen time, etc. to the characters’ boning. Gray’s Anatomy and Scandal, for examples. ABC probably believes it is sticking to a solid formula.

There is no way that’s true. Police make arrests when they respond to 911 calls. They don’t witness anything in those cases.
