This is noteworthy? Baseball is so lame.

Cool :) Yeah, I graduated high school in the mid-90s, and all my siblings are older than me, so it sounds like we’re all different timeframes.

I am inexplicably paranoid about anonymity online. If you like, tell me the years you were there. I also will ask my siblings for the years they were there. I think most of them graduated high school in the 80s, if that helps. If it turns out you were there at the same time as any of us, and more details would be

Most of us did. By the time I was that age we lived in Maryland and I went to HS in Washington DC.

I knew you’d say that lol (my whole fam went there)! Except you wrote West LA not Santa Monica so I was like, ‘Wellll maybe not.’

    That’s pretty darn dickish, imo.

    Which elementary school?

You realize Grundy’s tweets - even for tweets - are often in very poor English and sloppily punctuated, do you not?

As well she may. Until a condescending left-wing PR campaign that told Native Americans they need to shut up and think how they’re told to by whites, many if not most Native Americans either approved of or didn’t object to the name.

Or, as an alternative rebuttal to Triggertreats: “When is the last time the United States has had to suffer contested airspace? Korea? Do we really have to worry about that today, either?”

Hmmm you might - just maybe - be right. Thanks.

I doubt they make the distinction between networks during these situations. I think they see a media member and assume they’ll be anti-police.

Your point is accurate. There is a pandemic of hyperbole in American discourse. You can see it in regular citizens’ speech, in some of the commenters on Gawker (check out the comments to this post!), in a lot of the commenters on Jezebel (they do a lot of “sobbing” etc. that they didn’t actually do), and you can see

I think this might be the big thing. It is a (probably deliberately) silly, whimsical name. Thats gonna appeal to women more than men.

I’m impressed with everything about this piece except the click-bait headline.

He didn’t know whether he was coming or going?! She sent him for condoms, started having sex with him, then stopped midway.

This is bullshit hardball from Jezebel and Daily Kos (from which Jez pretty clearly ripped this “story”) though.
As you say, we all were ignorant little pukes in our early/mid teens.
Making these two girls - still girls, not adults - national/internet news for a years old video - i.e. made when they were quite young

It’s funny how after I’ve made what I think are solid points; you keep shifting yours to the point that now you’ve adopted my approach almost word for word. If you had a solid position, you wouldn’t need to adopt mine.

Oh. And now you broaden the standard definition of goddess. Good Lord.

Re your first paragraph: Irrelevant. We’re talking appearance. I used to actually be as fit as her. Post retirement I just look it. Irrelevant what I look like anyway; much less how fit I actually am. Bizarre for you to even bring the distinction up.
