It’s because it is an automated manual. Americans are used to creeping at stoplights with their torque converters, but this transmission can’t handle that.

Hello why are you using a picture of a Focus that is impossible to order with said faulty transmission (ST) ?

I mean, if they were going for “murderous street sweeper,” then they nailed it.
