Completely, totally 100% agree!!! Great breakdown and explanation on this issue. Race was NOT a factor.

Respectfully, I disagree re: Race in this series. If anything I enjoyed the fact that race WASN’T a factor, theme or plot device. Prudence wasn’t the only woman hanged in that scene - the other two ‘Weird Sisters’ were also affected. It was clear in the context of the scene that being hung was analogous to the way the

I definitely had a laugh at the demon Apophis actually being a worm. It was a fun little extra for old SG1 fans.  I really hope it was deliberate.

I thought Shipka was fine, and any flaws I just chalk up to inexperience in a role like this. She’ll come into her own. Sarah Michelle Gellar was very “meh” during the first season of Buffy, and we all know how things turned out in the end.

Well... when the accusations line up with things already known, and the defense amounts to ‘I have a gay and black friend so obviously I’m not against gays or blacks’ why exactly do you think people would give them the benefit of the doubt?

“I know a woman and a black guy, so your argument is invalid! Judge me by my work!”

Gotta love when clueless CEOs with no media training go and spout the worst shit possible that came first on their minds to try to deflect accusations....

Comparing calling out men who are abusing their position to sexually harass with the systematic murder and burning alive of countless women because they weren’t “womanly” enough? *owen wilson voice* w0w.

So because it happens a lot you don’t think it’s true?

“I have tons of black friends!”

Huh. My exposure with Quantic Dream is slight, but having one of the protagonists in Heavy Rain be the antagonist followed by that hidden nude model of Ellen Page in Beyond Two Souls, I can’t say I’m exactly surprised by this news.

This is my shocked face.

Since David Cage wants me to judge him by his work, I’d say that judging from his games, this is probably one of the least surprising things I’ve heard in recent news.

LOL that quote killed me. Just by his response I’m convinced all this stuff is true.

“Judge me by my work” is exactly the type of thing you would hear from a narcissistic racist, misogynist, or homophobe who doesn’t think he should be accountable for his real life actions. Incidentally, if you judge Cage by his work he comes off as utterly tacky and tawdry.

That’s like Roy Moore’s wife when her response to their anti-Semitic accusations what that they had a “Jew Lawyer”

Like, where did they find the time to even make 600 different images? Even if they weren’t horribly inappropriate, if employees were able to make this many Photoshops, that’s some really bad time management.

a trove of 600 photoshops of various employees that were homophobic or sexist in nature, and some which even included Nazi symbols, was discovered by an IT manager

well, that’s a new variant of the “I can’t be racist because I have a friend who is black” statement.
