Kanye,

Jesus Tap Dancing Christ . . . enough with Kanye West! Enough!

Looking for binge-worthy tv shows.

I would go husband hunting, but hunting licenses have been really hard to get ever since the local husband population was decimated by chick flicks and demancaveification.

This song is so important in my life right now, I'm tired of dealing with looking ass niggas. And for a community obsessed with "subverting the male gaze" and all that, Nicki literally destroyed it here, but I'm sleep.

EXACTLY. I in no way endorse of approve of that rape line. It stuck out to me when I first listened to it to and I didn't like it at all.

Disagree. She's talking clearly about dudes who are frontin on their status. She's not saying she only wants to interact with moguls. She's saying that she doesn't want to have to deal with "lyin' ass niggas". Nothing about that first verse says she's not here for up-and-comers. There's a big ass difference.

It's like "No Scrubs" by TLC or even "Bills,Bills, Bills", by Destiny's Child, it's just more raw. And I remember a lot of women relating to those songs. This is not that different.

I agree, there is nothing pop about this. This is as mixtape as it gets.

RIGHT? This song is the shit. I've been jamming out to it non stop since I first heard it.

Okay, so the rape line is horrible because it is. There's no real excuse why she would even go there. I'm not here for that.

Now playing

Speaking of mixtape Nikki coming back, this is a fav of her new stuff:

I don't think it was meant from a place of disrespect, but one of familiarity (at least for the American's in the audience.) To give those who seem to have no sense of emotional perspective, a little more context.

Really? 'Cause I haven't liked either of them for years and it most definitely has nothing to do with sexism or racism. In fact my disillusionment with Kanye began because of HIS homophobic lyrics.

Really hoping she wins the Oscar. I think she deserves it. Her role was really critical in making the film what it was.

If overhyped JLaw (who consistently gives moderately good performances and gets bombarded with accolades for NO GOOD REASON) steals it from under her I'm going to be fucking pissed.

That is by a wide margin the most human and likeable Kanye West has ever looked. Good call on Kim's part to leave out all the photos where he berates the baby for not recognizing his musical genius.

Ooh, and down the rabbit hole I go into Alanis's NannyGate.

you're right. I guess my point was that people are too often blind to racism when it applies to other races. Unfortunately, the history of racism towards blacks in the USA had created extra sensitivity towards them, but meanwhile other races have been treated as "fair game."
