You can argue if it was murder or manslaughter all you like. We don't really have enough to completely, unambiguously prove intent, mostly because the only other witness got shot and died. But let's establish a few givens:

The KC area is one of the most racially segregated places I've lived, both on the Kansas and the Missouri side. The Kansas side, mainly the suburbs (where she grew up), are very, very white. Unfortunately, I'm not very surprised by any of this.
