You can argue if it was murder or manslaughter all you like. We don't really have enough to completely, unambiguously prove intent, mostly because the only other witness got shot and died. But let's establish a few givens:

Yo, the medical examiner on the case said that there was no way Zimmerman's story was true, but he wasn't called upon to testify by either party. Just FYI.
To be actually fair, Trayvon was not bashing his head into the concrete, zimmerman did not have a broken nose - the EMTs report states as much as well as zimmermans personal physicians report that was submitted to his employer for medical reimbursement
Ugh, I'm not even engaging with you. I hope you learn, but it's not going to be from me.
You assault someone with a gun and then you're justified in using it if the person fights back? Seems fair.
But the white ppl!!!! We must remember to represent them too! *deep sigh* I really hate when people bring up math like that's the end all be all to an argument. This is why people will never be great.
Personally, I'm tired of hearing what white men have to say. That's why I want more diversity on TV. I'm sick and tired of white men and their opinions.
I said this in the Kerry Washington post on Sunday and I'll say it again here: SNL needs a more diverse writing staff behind it in addition to hiring more diverse talent in front of the camera. Because otherwise, if they hire one or two women of color, they'll just be stuck acting out white dudes' idea of what…
That shit was the shit.
The KC area is one of the most racially segregated places I've lived, both on the Kansas and the Missouri side. The Kansas side, mainly the suburbs (where she grew up), are very, very white. Unfortunately, I'm not very surprised by any of this.
I think I'd like to clarify to the girls that are defending these guys that consent is not always willing consent. That argument is like saying that if someone comes up and mugs you with a gun, that it wasn't actually stealing because the person technically gave them their wallet.
In other news:
I'm so torn by this. On the one hand, he's gleefully spitting in the face of extreme southern racists who cling to the confederate flag like it's the second amendment. But on the other hand, it gives less extreme southern racists the ability to excuse their use of the CF by saying, "Kanye West wears it, why can't I?!"
Secret Squirrel Kanye is a one pathetic attempt at a conundrum - pretending to be militant to incite the ire of white folks while desperately courting their approval.
That doesn't make his comment any more reasonable, though. I mean, be in love, that's GREAT, but obliquely criticizing the FLOTUS for not instagramming pics of her ass is... dumb? It makes him sound like a moron, because instagram pics of Michelle Obama's ass (or any FLOTUS) are never, ever, ever going to be a…
Kanye, Kanye, KANYE. It's when you say things like that... people think you're insane instead of just a maybe-genius Level 99 Music Wizard. Comparing FLOTUS and Kim Kardashian is like comparing apples to durian fruit. One is delicious and wonderful and the other smells like poo. Not the same thing, friend!
This.
Ugh, I totally called this one. I understand the authorities had to do their due diligence, but the international media really showed their asses with all the extra creepy racist commentary. So basically all that happened here is two children were removed from their homes and traumatized all because people couldn't…
