I really hope MeeGo wins the hearts of Android developers. Why go VM when you can go straight Linux with potentially better battery and hardware acceleration. Plus, Nokia is known for great hardware, so I think MeeGo can be a huge success in the open source, custom ROM scene.

This will go great with my Gingerbread.

@Graymulligan: Yeah, I've never noticed or cared that I couldn't do voice and data at the same time and I've been on Verizon since day one.

I don't understand the tone of this article. Everyone including the author has known about the CDMA for voice and LTE for data "trickery." I'm sure it's been mentioned on Gizmodo before.

This was only relevant when landscape keyboards were rare. Now, there are plenty of capable smartphones with landscape hardware keyboards. This looks like a cheap toy compared to those other phones.

@HankBear: Yes, can't wait for 4.3" QHD goodness. For me though, I think there is room for another half inch of screen before things start getting to big. Of course the bezel would have to be very tiny at that point.

Your smartphone already does this well. More than one notification could get annoying.

In order for us to see light from the Big Bang, the universe would have had to expand at faster than the speed of light which isn't possible. Am I right?

@crazypills77: So an enlarged iPhone's 4x4 grid of static icons makes more sense to you on a tablet than the ability to fit more data on the screen with widgets and icons?

Sweet, but right now I just want a stable release of CM7 on my Galaxy S. Can't wait.

I'm sure others have already said the same thing, but I always go at least month without washing. I usually don't wash until I've sweat in them pretty good. I thought that was the point of jeans, they aren't dress slacks.

I'm very critical of movies, and 95% of the crap the industry puts out is crap in my opinion. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a soft spot for the Matrix series, yes, the entire series. I guess everyone has a guilty pleasure or two.

I was going to wait for the Bionic, but then my Droid's screen shattered. I ended up getting a mint condition Fascinate for $150 on Craigslist. This article makes me a little happy about that impulse buy. Now I just need for CyanogenMod to provide a flawless ROM for this device and I should be comfortably happy for

@RigAudio: I was gonna say that too, but he's talking about something else. Hard to make out what it is though.

Boo for no high res. Didn't see any on his website either.

@Ham_Sandwich: Wow, I never knew about this tech. This makes T-Mobile a lot more attractive in my eyes.

I have a small fear of the ocean, I mean, I will go into the water at the beach and go snorkeling and all that stuff, but my fear will cross my mind. At night though, that shit seems way scarier.

So I guess this is the adult stuff Eric Schmidt had to deal with.

@Wraithen: Yeah, that just ruins the whole thing for me.

I'll stick to The Balvenie
