Ok- here’s an example. Someone who works for Target. Between grocery and clothing, a family of four can easily spend $20,000 (more than likely way more) over a five year period. You honestly think that Target employee should shop exclusively at Target?

The answer is simple, really. A carbon tax that makes gasoline much less attractive to consumers. At $2.00 a gallon gas is at least a third of what it should cost. Our gas prices are so artificially low, it’s no wonder we are guzzling it up like it’s cheaper than milk... Oh wait.... It is!!!

My biggest gripe with this whole FF disaster is that in one breath they speak of transforming the way humans think about mobility, and then the next breath they tell us about this single-seater race car. The latter does not serve the former.

Unquestionably Lincoln delivers the same basic products as Ford more or less. But at least they pretend to offer something different. I mean, a base Expedition is $45,xxx (Options up to around $68k) while a base Navigator is $63,xxx (Optioned up to $76k). Base Fusion is $22k, MKZ is $35k. That’s a hefty premium.

I’m trying to think of one example of another company that sells the same car, with the same options, and same level of luxury, at the same price, in the same market... and can’t think of a single one.

Then why not just ditch the Chevy Truck/Van product line and have GMC become the Truck/Van face of GM? I just don’t get the point of having identical products marketed under different names.
