So you don’t think previews matter? It’s just how it looks to me! Looks bland!

Listen man you enjoy what you want to enjoy, the design looks mid. That’s my simple observation.

I saw like an hour lol. It’s my preview opinion not a final review. It looks bland!

I watched like an hour plus of gameplay. Looks bland as hell.

Looks like one of the most uninspired open worlds in recent memory

Hot take: as long as exclusives are a thing, I don’t think there’s any reason Microsoft should have to provide games on PS5 any more than Sony should have to provide games on Xbox. The issue is exclusives in general. It shouldn’t be legal to keep one computer from running software another almost-identical computer can

I remember they teased Max Payne 1+2 remakes and last I heard it’s still in early development.

I know RTS has been slow to return to console (not that it was ever all that busy, even with Star Craft releasing on the N64 all those years ago) but games like Company of Heroes and the Total War series would be fine on console and they should bring them more frequently. Age of Empires works pretty well on Xbox and

It works great, once you memorize the radial menus and button combos to perform complex actions. But it’s still sort of a pain to navigate the map quickly and impossible to play competitively. You just can’t micro manage units effectively nor jump around the map quick enough. Which is fine, I don’t really play AoE as

Barb looks so damn goofy with four weapons strapped on him, I really wish there was a gothic plate knight with sword and shield class (like the D2 Paladin.) The atmosphere is so dark and grim but so far the player classes feel sorta cartoony to me.

When Star Citizen was announced I didn’t have a PC. Then I built a PC, played Star Citizen for years(!), and eventually went back to console gaming. And it’s still not finished! I think the game is actually a lot of fun. I think their big mistake is overpromising and lack of focus. The unrealistic single player

I don’t think they earned the violence, and this was my concern the entire show’s run. It needed another hour (either an episode or ideally scenes across multiple episodes) of hard, violent, almost terrifying Joel. We really only get that in the show twice before the finale: when he beats the guard who catches them

They made Seinfeld gentile? Gross!

I don’t think anyone is surprised, but that doesn’t make it any less insufferable lol.

The cool thing about Oblivion, FO3, and NV is they’re all on Game Pass and load really fast on the Series X and S. I almost don’t think they need remasters. I think NV could use a proper remake or sequel though. But if you just want to enjoy NV, the Xbox version is solid still. Oblivion I’m less sure of. There’s

RE games are great because they give you this really terrifying, atmospheric horror setting and then fill it with the goofiest bunch of antagonists you could imagine. Village was a great example of this, some real compelling horror and then some of the silliest tension killing horror comedy you could think of. Dead

Do you guys tend not to mention when a game is coming to Game Pass or PS+? I feel like when these games pop up in sub services that’s sort of big news these days at least something to consider including.

Yes. In this case, yes. Sony is using arguments that allege harm but they’re the same practices Sony uses to build PlayStation’s exclusive library. Microsoft simply has a bigger mouth capable of taking bigger bites. Sony has a smaller mouth and takes thousands of little bites. They’re both trying to eat the same

I understand why the regulators are concerned about exclusivity, but there’s really no justification for a smart games journalist to treat exclusivity like a novel concept here. The way you guys write about Xbox as if it exists in a vacuum and exclusives are a new concept is borderline insulting. Sony clawed back into

Yeah I mean they can for sure make good connections, it’s not that I don’t think they can connect the universe, I just think it cheapens the experience. It feels tacky to me, a little heavy on fan service, that’s all. I don’t think it makes a lot of narrative sense unless you’re a fan of both games. Like literally,
