Hopefully a more mature and less awful/embarrassing sense of humor.

While I think the art design really suffered in the jump from 2D to 3D, particularly on N64, it’s hard to blame the game makers--simplified textures and limited/foggy draw distance was the price we paid for the advanced world physics and interactivity (and scale) of those games. Honestly, the thing that bugs me most

It’s the isometric view in general. Diablo IV looks like it’s going to be a return to form, and Diablo 2: Resurrected looked great, but a lot of 10's-era isometric perspective games suffered from a simplified, almost child-friendly look that lost a lot of atmosphere in almost every game it touched.

If I said something incredibly demeaning about another race or sex I wouldn’t say “Oh well I’ve experienced antisemitism so I’m lashing out.” It’s a bullshit excuse. Keem should be banned too; the reality is that the “pro gaming” community and streaming community at large are dominated by incredibly toxic people.

I think Max Payne is already available backward compatible on Xbox Series S/X anyway. IMO the new graphics doesn’t make it better, though I do really enjoy these games—I’d prefer stable remastered builds of the old games rather than fancy looking remakes, but at the same time, if this is the only way the studio is

I have both consoles and only ever use the Xbox. Food for thought. The PS5 isn’t bad, but it’s just an exclusive machine for their adventure games.

The issue is that there doesn’t seem to be consistency in this narrative, because it’s mostly just spilling (maybe deservedly) the thoughts and complaints of employees. Naturally this is imperfect because people are imperfect.

The big problem that leadership has never been able to solve is the individual human and the effect individual humans have on workplaces. Schlosser might have been hitting all the marks on paper, but if the system kept her separated from the toxicity, she might have never seen it, and that may even have been by design.

I know his involvement was probably 99% to satisfy a marketing promise, but I am still curious about the specifics of the inspiration he provided. Elden Ring has a little bit more of a rustic Norman medieval feel than the Germanic gothic tone of other Souls games, and although it still retains the classic Souls

I certainly didn’t gather that he murders anyone from the trailer I saw on tv. Then again I won’t see this, because porn exists and it’s free.

Ah this makes sense, a lot of those quest lines felt incomplete. I think they probably ran out of time for some of that stuff (Loux and Haight in particular seemed like unfinished quests).

It’s more like for every example of a cop doing something like this, you’ve got a lot more examples of institutional corruption and oppression that ruins it for the good eggs. There are far too many bad cops and bad departments, and far too much legal immunity, legislative protection, and funding going to them.

All the major companies do this, but it’s really silly how they show multiplats and don’t show the other platforms the games are coming to in the trailers. I get it, it’s a Sony event, but then why show multiplats at all? Why not just spend more time on the exclusives? Obviously Ghostwire will come to Xbox after the

It’s funny I’ve found this to be far, far less of an issue than in every other FROM game. The liberal Grace locations and fast travel from the map, combined with the much larger, less dense environments makes it far easier to avoid getting mobbed or backstabbed when you need to take a break. And thanks to the SSD

It’s a lot slower though, at least the complex unit grouping stuff. You can easily map trigger+radial menus to accomplish all of the inputs.

It’s possible that he always wanted this to be public (he doesn’t do many interviews but he’s got a relatively recent and pretty famous live interview, and he seems comfortable doing stage work anyway from Broadway to standup work). My guess is that if he has an opportunity to do this without COVID restrictions that

Wasn’t it a racing term before it was an exotic dancer term? (Not that it matters much in the US)

lmao uh, yeah, I’ve been playing ArmA since Operation Flashpoint launched. It’s great at calculating weapon physics and some basic flight sim and AI movement but the animations and world physics have always been pretty robotic and modest when it comes to graphical fidelity. Trees look pretty dated. Lighting is meh.

On the flip side if I went from a 360 to a PS4, I might be more inclined to jump back. It’s already doing far better than the Xbox One did at any rate.

If the leaks are true I’ll probably try it for a bit just to replay some classic games (assuming they’re the classic games I’m into) and then drop it and go back to only using the PS5 for exclusives.
