Years ago they had toy parrots that when you pressed their talon, they would record a few seconds of sound then play it back shaking its wings.......so there I was with a whole isle filled with them.......

That's sad. I guess I'm lucky I got to see one practicing on a dummy convoy with its minigun and rockets with an F-15 in NJ. Got to keep a shell from the minigun as a souvenir (one that was pre-cleaned of course). There is nothing like the sound of that gun going off and the line of smoke it leaves from the nose.

And they're using the same fuselage which, as you said, is no longer being made, correct?

I've been saying this for a while now...only this is much better thought out and written.

That dosn't include the newer versions right? Don't they have something similar to the Hornet's Super Hornet?

You forgot to mention people team killing eachother to jump into said aircraft first.

Very cool, I want it to keep the kids off my propertah.

I didnt realize they cancelled the program....seeing as how they have no plane that can match its ground support and survivability.

On a more realistic note, I would HATE to have my desk directly below their office testing area...

that makes even less sense, unless they mean remove.

that makes sense.

"Broken Thumbs Apps is deleting the data now, and has promised to list its game in the future."

mmmm possibly, but for that to work id like to know more about their scaffolding, why it failed and how it could have been made to withstand the storm.

I love to tell the tale of how Desert Combat inspired Battlefield 2, Bad Company, Bad Company 2, Call of Duty 4, MW2, and all future modern combat games.

Well, for one, your ability to have a civil fucking debate. How did you ever earn your star in the first place?

Does anyone know the plans for this facility AFTER the olympics?

It might stop the bullet, but the shockwave might still screw up your insides. Plus it'l hurt more than a real bullet. Real bullets tear through skin and hit fewer nerve endings than this would.

Now playing

If you thought it was cool in Call of Duty, witness the glory of Desert Combat from 2002 or so.

I've had that tingle ever since Desert Combat where I was flying one for ground support and others were manning the guns.
