@Black41: I guess now that I think of it, the research put into this game for the animals, culture, and environment must have taken quite a large amount of money. It's making sense now as to why it costs about the same.

I don't get why it cost so much. For GTA IV, I would expect a majority, or at least a quarter of that $100 million going towards the engine. Since RDR uses the same, already made engine, how has it cost the same?
