Ah that makes more sense. I admit, I really only got it at the time for the winners don’t use drugs bumper. Hopefully it’s still doing it’s grim duty somewhere else these days!

Starfield’s now been out for almost a month, and the lack of more major updates is certainly striking in contrast to recent blockbuster RPGs like Elden Ring and Baldur’s Gate 3.
Hell, the Target next door to me still can barely keep Switches stocked. If Nintendo can keep selling them at full price, I don’t blame them for letting consumers operate in “SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY” mode.
So far, only Campfire Cabal has been announced as being closed. Which is a damn shame, given that the studio was comprised of former members of Logic Arts, the devs behind the Expedition series. That team really stepped it up with their last game (Expeditions: Rome) and was quickly becoming a top tier CRPG developer.
I genuinely can’t get myself to buy something that ugly. Hopefully the PS6 will at least come in all black.
Whoever decided (glossy) panda-print was the way to go this generation should be shot
Sure, but the previous public numbers came from the manufacturers as well, so either the earlier numbers were wrong (and if they were, why?) or they’re not looking at something as simple as hardware units sold.
Is it?
Clue, now that’s a good movie.
I think the only one of those I enjoyed was the house in the original RE4. Having just replayed the RE3 remake a few weeks ago I can confirm that the hospital survival section sucks real bad and is no fun at all.
While this is promising - the story doesn’t quite line up with the the headline, you know?
One thing I think everyone can agree on is that Sony hasn’t really done much to promote the new hardware. Not State of Play, no real marketing across the board. I also don’t think it helped that they are the only place you can pre-order.
Wasn’t knocking the effort. Just want some numbers for my personal useless knowledge compendium.
That’s where the issue comes up. They didn’t just ‘end server support’ they straight up have removed all the unreal games from all storefronts in one swoop and no warning. If you had the games already, sure no issue but the games are effectively unobtainable in any digital format. This article just shrugs at a FAR…
I keep The Simpsons on in the background all the time. I’m on my, like, third rewatch of the first ten or so seasons, this year.
Bart saying “eat my shorts” isn’t what’s funny about classic Simpsons.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply you were being snarky. I fully agree with you. Were it not for availability I would never even have considered an Xbox at all.
Thats exactly why I got one. Split up with my partner, let her keep the PS4, knew I stood no chance of getting a ps5 anytime soon so I was looking just to get another PS4 but even they were out of stock.
Also, the GPU market was absurd because of mining. I imagine a lot of folks that had the bad luck of wanting to upgrade to their rigs to something more than 1080p/30-60 (which seem to be everyone to a degree as 4k screens have become ubiquitous) looked at the sticker shock of gaming PCs, the general unavailability of…
Naahh... Trust me. As a corporate scientist, I get rushed to complete assessments and reports without all the necessary data and am forced to work my butt off to appease the business functions.
