There were a bunch, as gaming was the one thing I had in common with pretty much all of my friends. But there were three big ones: my mom (for a while), the kid who lived next door to my dad’s house, and then a friend I met when I changed schools in eighth grade.

In the early days, my mom was pumped to play NES games,

Healthcare? WTF is that nonsense?

Healthcare and other benefits extended to family members.

Possibly for some employee benefits that extend to family members.

Now playing

When mine arrives, I may just turn it on and let it cycle through the attract mode all day. The game itself is OK at best, but that attract video? “Lead on, adventurer! Your quest...awaits!”

“.. that looks like a Don Bluth cartoon.”

Yeah, but I think that was just for movement? I was talking about camera control

Everything about Sony’s hardware aesthetic design confuses me.  I think maybe the Vita is the only piece of hardware they’ve ever released where I thought “you did it, guys.  You nailed it.”

It’s funny, I don’t remember it being nearly that bad in 1996. I think we’re just all used to modern camera controls that now it’s super hard to use.

I LOVE good horror movies. I started playing RE7 last week at night and couldn’t go on.

Much like how many licks it takes to get the to center of a tootsie pop I am afraid we will never know ( Mr. Owl’s answer doesn’t count lol). But man I would have loved to have that as a full game. Would have definitely been awesome and crazy tense.

It really was a wild ride. Even watching a play through of it still sufficiently creeps me out. I can’t even imagine what a full length game of that would have been. I’m not sure I would have been able to actually finish it haha

I could never even finish PT. There is a pretty good homebrew version of it for the vita called “The hallway” and even that I cannot finish because PT was some of the scariest shit ever

RE7:

Weirdly enough, while I am a total wuss when it comes to horror games and horror movies, I had almost no issue with RE7. It’s definitely tense in the beginning (and generally whenever you had to evade one of the family members), but there was something about it that softened the blow. Maybe it was how human the family

Remember when we thought this would be over by summer? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

and by power requirement, I meant speed requirements :)

As long as people don’t mind buying devices with about a day of battery life (phones, smartwatches), it won’t happen. In fact, I’m pretty sure more efficient batteries won’t matter, as manufacturers will see it as an excuse to use smaller batteries and reduce their cost (more profits!!), while providing the same

Don’t forget, Zynga had huge layoffs about 7 years ago as the market for their games imploded. Their primary concern was to keep the company afloat rather than future-proofing their catalog.

Farmville 3 is meant to be it’s successor.
