FYI- this also launched on iOS (not sure about Android). This covers iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs.

I lived in Japan during part of the 360 era but with a US 360. Even with that being the most popular Xbox- most stuff sat in stores. The upside for 360 owners was that the accessories were regularly marked down. I piked up the overpriced wifi module for like $30-40 cheaper :)

I hope its true, but I’m just waiting for Zelda to get pushed back. It always happens with Zelda - and I’m sure they’re better games for it.

We used to just call the ice cream truck (which we could never see from our house) the “music” truck until my daughter was about 4 or 5, then we finally let her in on it.

The Japanese approach reminds me of what a friend of mine had exposure to with one of first jobs back in the early 2000s when US companies were figuring this stuff out. A large US IP owner (either film studio or music company, I don’t remember which) hired two US companies that specialized in finding and identifying

At this point they just need pay Data Design Studio to do another reskin of Ninjabread Man, slap Star Citizen on the title screen and call it a day.

Infotainment made by the manufacturer. But worse than that. Voice controls made by the manufacturer. That stuff never worked.

Next cost-cutting measure, you order your pizza 3 days ahead of time and they ship you all the ingredients to make it yourself.

Yeah, we borrowed some money from my inlaws for our down payment on the house we sold. But the people getting $300k-$500k from their parents to buy a house outright just floor me. We had one cash offer out of about 12 offers (in less than 1 week on the market). Those 11 other people needed houses too :\

Bingo. Right now its not uncommon for sellers to get all cash offers. We sold 6 months ago and the buyers had mommy and daddy give them the cash to buy.

From a business perspective, I guess it makes sense. Disney didn’t buy them out for the ability to churn out hit just any kind of hit films- it bought them for their IP. As a consumer- it makes me sad. Star Wars has been so uneven under Disney (and... well.. its ALWAY been uneven going back to RotJ). Doubling down on

I don’t disagree, but there is something to be said about also being able to make tons of money off the #1 game franchise on your competition’s console. Play it “free” with game pass on our console, or give us $60 to play it on our competitors’ console. MS still has the upper-hand in that scenario.

The One S was a godsend for people who had launch Ones. I had several issues with my One, including constantly having issues getting it to play movies. Thanks to an Amazon Black Friday deal, I was able to trade in my One to Amazon for like $170 and buy a new S for $210. The S was a great model and my favorite looking

You can also jump in Super Mario Bros.

Yeah, they’ve made improvements- but  I still regularly run into issues with their website and app.

The report says GameStop has brought on twenty new hires to develop the new online marketplace

Things can be multi-faceted. Rarely is 1 single reason to blame for an issue.

I had a really funny situation but I think it was unintentional. I had cleared out an entire base except for 1 enemy. I was running around looking for him and he yelled out “Stop looking. There’s no one here!” I laughed and thought it was super funny.

But there are only so many subscriptions most people can afford. Most do not want to pay subscriptions for everything. A car payment every month is already enough for a vehicle.
