I had a conversation with my therapist about the election and she said it’s been unlike any election in the past in terms of how it’s affecting people’s mental health. She’s been getting APA bulletins about how the election is triggering people who have been sexually assaulted, abused, and/or bullied.

Well said, watching her take SO much abuse and have that be the bar she had to cross in order to seem “presidential” was nauseating.

I laughed SO hard. :)

I can totally relate and understand. It makes me feel awful to be a woman that so many people (including other women apparently) are supporting him. He’s a monster.

He did not move the entire time. When the camera cuts to him during Obama bashing him, he’s at the exact same angle with the exact same expression. This is like a hour+ long dinner.

Now playing

How are you going to highlight that, and not this from that historic night given the context?

She literally destroyed him. When she gave the rundown of the last 30 years and talked about what she’s accomplished and what little he’s done for anyone other than himself I could’ve died. Me and my mom were both live-texting each other throughout and at that point I could’ve shot off sparks from my fingertips from

He won’t concede, ever, and even after the election results are certified and the electoral college has voted, he will continue to claim that the election was rigged—in part because he’s only now finding out about electoral voting.

That one picture alone could be used as evidence why Clinton is infinitely more qualified to be President than Trump.

Hugs for you. I got a chill when he said that and it was the same kind of chill that I would get when bullies would say stuff to embarrass me. Then I got real fucking mad, righteous mad and I remembered that I, and so many other women in this country can take his shiny prize away from him. LETS VOTE!

As an aside, can I just say that I still find this photo fascinating. The stress and weight of the expressions on everyone’s face here is truly historic.

Finally these debates are over. Can we just declare Hillary the President now and be done with it?

I felt the same way. In fact, his abusive behavior often knocks the wind out of me for just a second. I can shake it off (although even that is more like denial than really moving past it), because it’s not directed at me and I don’t know him, but to actually be targeted by him....I can’t imagine.

(Figurative interweb hugs for and/or vibes of calming goodness to you.)

I’m convinced that in the nasty woman comment, the bigger insult in his mind was woman.

Guys, my (Latino) husband doesn’t know it yet because he’s not home, but our couples Halloween costume is now Nasty Woman and Bad Hombre, this nightmare election is finally giving me something useful.

A Hillary Clinton anger interpreter would be a wonderful thing to behold.

Her social media team is awesome. And quick.

And what provoked it? Her making a joke at the expense of his tax evasion. A tiny little jab which doesn’t even hold a candle to the sorts of things he’s said about her.
