i agree! My cars are old/simple and im fine w/it. When i rent a new/modern car i find it overkill. And i work in tech! I am not tech-phobic at all.

This kind of stuff always cracked me up when I saw it. My all time favorite was when we started seeing random interior door panels on new Grand Cherokees that would, for example, be tan when the rest of the interior and other door trim would be grey. We all thought WTF? How could they pass end of line inspection?

With blind spot systems so prevalent now, how far away is technology that can tell when you’re getting passed on the right, and it tells the driver to move over? Preferably, it would have a loud, obnoxious sound until the lane change occurs. I’d celebrate that and eagerly accept it as standard equipment.

Is it just me or does an electric truck just make all kinds of sense? You have this elongated body and high riding position that just seems perfect for concealing a huge battery. Then you get all the torques but without the wonky weight distribution issues of normal pickups.
