It is gonna be hard to reach 6BT or T444E levels of durability in this type of engine, they are not designed for it. The Cummins and Navistar are designed for commercial vehicles, so it is unlikely to see this “lighter” diesels being able to manage the same level of punishment.

That is certainly flying under the radar, evryone is focusing on the 6K national guard guys going to the border, but cutting the money flow is certainly a more effective way to deal with it.
