Public service, yeah... One of this douches with military training, this golf would get claymored or worse.

You sir deserve all the stars...

“The idea you would negotiate a merger without speaking with your 20-year partner is absolutely extraordinary,” a person close to Nissan said. “It’s about trust, and that’s the problem here.”

Yes, that is the point, not only the cycle is the same, it is pretty much the same vehicle, just a different engine.

Timing with the whistlerblower thing tho...

Hence why the HCCI is called a holly grial engine.

Driving at 50?

So would you buy a super fuel efficient car, say 100 MPG, with a max speed of say 40MPG ?

As you yourself posted below, BSFC is the correct measure.

For comparison’s sake, Mazda’s UK website shows that a 120 horsepower, 2.0- liter Skyactiv-G hatchback with a manual (this is also a mild hybrid, like all Skyactiv-X models) manages up to 38 MPG combined in WLTP tests, so the Skyactiv-X hatchback is significantly more powerful and roughly 13 percent more fuel

All those smaller cars that are able to comply and be sold below those prices, where are they assembled?

You would not be able to sell that truck in the US for that cost, that is the whole point.

All of which would have to be re-engineered to meet US standards, then tested to certify them.

No matter what Chrysler says, the TC by Maserati is totally just a tarted up LeBaron. Same chassis, same platform, same engines, mostly the same bodywork. The 200 horsepower 2.2-liter turbo model had Cosworth-built-Maserati-finished cylinder heads, but this version with the 3-liter V6 was all Mitsubishi power. Man,
