I looooooved the game so much that I completed it two times back-to-back to get all of the achievements. But I sucked at it and never managed to put the difficulty very high.

I agree! I bought this game..... in some Steam sale, where it was on sale pretty cheap soon after release. I played it and enjoyed it but had other games/life come up. I finally circled back to it last month and am enjoying it. I actually like card battlers, does that make me weird?

The Last Voyage of the Demeter is TERRIBLE! I went in hoping for a fun ride but just hated it. Fun to watch and make fun of though.

Polite Society was a lot of fun to watch on a plane.

Polite Society was such a cute film. Loved it. 

The director cut thing is marketing.  Don’t assume for a moment that it was not planned before he shot his first scene that there would be a movie followed by a “director’s cut” because the Snyderdorks all get all hot and bothered by the idea. 

It is SO hard to reconcile him as we see him in interviews with the director that SO MANY actors really seem to like a LOT.

Just in terms of the studios plans and outside of the fact he’s a legit sociopath facing justice, two breaks they’ve received is that it happened early enough in the Kang angle that you could scuttle it just as easy as pivoting it, and the character itself is basically built for recasting if you want to go that route.

I mean, they could recast with Terrence Howard.
