Nice Prius, guys.

...I’d go far as to say maybe not “planning”, but yeah...if you need to accommodate one kiddo, might as well plan for two.

...and then they have another kid in 2 years and he’s back at square one. I say buy like you’re having at least one more kid. Trust me.

Yeah? 98% sure we’re about to buy one in the next 3-6 months. I’ve been happily not driving a minivan for a number of years (I have two grown older kids, now a second batch that are younger necessitating the minivan) and am having a hard time getting excited about it.

As a just-over-6'2" dude, I agree, but you’d be surprised how hard finding something comfortable, especially if someone has to sit behind you, can be.

But yes they definitely are less “stigmatized” than a wagon or minivan, and that matters to lots of people too.”

This. I’d be down for it.

...until some jackass hacks a fleet and uses the AVs to kill people.

And yet, as far as I can tell, around here at least half of the people driving very much suck at it.

live-fire missile exercise...

I blab about it all the damned time, but the OG xB really is kinda the greatest gas car ever.

What I’m hoping. And having room for kiddos, the dog and stuff the rest of the time, while still getting the fuel efficiency I want, is going to be great. I never thought I’d be stoked about a minivan, but I’m looking forward to it.

It’s a bummer that companies have such redonkulous benchmarks for “success” sometimes. Scion got killed because they weren’t successful enough but they sold shit tons of them, and they were great.

I once fit a Fender Rhodes in the back seat of a Chrysler Cordoba. It’s too bad we can’t get ginormo cars that will hold an 8x10 cab AND get 55 mpg doing it. We really want an Esquire but Toyota has no apparent plans to import them. :/

In most regards the V is like my dream car, but they’re few and far/pricier than I’d like around here lately too. I think we’re going the Pacifica route soon, at least for my SO’s DD. I still want something smaller for myself, but not ready to give up the Juicebox just yet.

I had an ‘09 Prius for a long time; after my first gen1 xB was totaled and I couldn’t find another close by, and didn’t like the Rumion xB so much, I test drove the Prius on a whim and nudge from my GF. I found it felt closer to the OG xB than the new xB to me, and the mpgs sealed the deal. You could also easily fit a

Is Tesla looking for this, redux? :

Good thing I just took a leak a few minutes ago, or I’d piss myself laughing...

Always a go to and a favorite.

This. It takes all kinds, and there’s value in almost ever human endeavor.
