You buy them on a regular basis? Presumably to resell them? But if they don't go higher than $700, do you make much profit? $700 is actually decent. It's about 25% of the way to a new one. You know, I'm currently in India, I'm sure I could unload this unibody for over $1000 here.

How much do you guys think I can sell my late 2008 unibody 15" MBP (2.53ghz c2duo, 4mb ram, 500 gb hd) for? I want one of these new ones.

Please rebrand IE to Netscape. Please.

Basically what Grooveshark need to do RIGHT NOW is switch their model over to a subscription-only site like rdio, spotify, etc. and renew deals with this in mind. That way they won't die and I can carry on spending $30 a year for a music service without switching over to $9/month alternatives. I think Grooveshark

Now, I'm not saying that their culture is wrong... but their culture is wrong. WRONG

Kinda makes me want to move to Brooklyn

The woman is actually genuinely fine. Just looks like some absurdism art.

Before we all start to question pilots, I personally know a bunch of commercial pilots and they are usually the most respectable and grounded (pun not intended) people out there. This situation sounds like an anomaly. Pilots actually have pretty stressful jobs and that combined with a lack of sleep could cause

Wait, so the asterisk * in the title indicates a humorous/joke post? I should probably keep an eye out for that next time because I actually believed this for a second. Until I read "onion", of course.

So, then you pretend you're a parody site and fall under free speech laws.

I like the term exobrain, I've long since argued the very same point with many of the same arguments (phone number memory, the redundancy of paper maps). The problem lies in that people get too personally attached to their exobrain - and rightfully so, since it enriches their life so much. But that euphoria clouds

Speaking of "PERIOD", you must be on yours since you failed to grasp the jovial nature of that tongue-in-cheek remark. Secondly, I'm fully aware of bone densities. While Pterosaurs had light, hollow bones, the larger ones easily weighed as much as a human adult male. Wingspan is the great equalizer.

2 main reasons why I think this is not fake: 1, I really want to believe this is real and 2, there have been animals in the past (pterosaurs) larger than us that have conquered flight in a similar manner, so it's doable.

They recently bought [Brizzly.com] to integrate into the new [aim.com] (which looks quite nice IMO). At least they're trying. I kinda have a soft spot for AIM because it was the messaging platform to use when I was in high school (early 2000s), so I'd like to see it eventually dominate in place of newer messaging

What if they moved shop over to a developing nation such as India? That could reduce costs a fraction, I'm sure.

How fragile are people's egos? Tell them the truth. If you've seen it before, say so! Cultivate a framework of honesty in society. Don't give in to the weak. Make no concessions. Our progeny will thank us for it.

Exactly. Symantec needs to just shut up. This is just another fear mongering press release from a crappy company trying to stay relevant.

Btw all you had to do was remove the trailing "</p>" html tag from the URL and your original link worked.

That's very interesting. Thanks for backing it up with a source. I have a feeling I belong to the lucky first category.
