Maybe Marion Cotillard is playing Catwoman and everything we've heard up until now is misdirection!

Really? I found the pilot was too tightly focused and I loved when the show expanded the scope of the show.

Good call.

I love watching the Battlestar mini-series with people. It's such a great way to start the show. I used to feel the same way about the Lost pilot, but I've watched it so many times that it mostly just drives me crazy.

I would vote for that if there was a "best montage" poll.

I like to go to the big box stores and leave their computers open to sites like monoprice and the such.

I never think about the corporations behind the stories. It's kind of gross to see that some fantastic franchises are owned by not-so-fantastic corporations.

I hear Hulu's for sale... Nah, MS won't buy it, but that might be fun. I would happily watch on-demand TV shows on my Xbox with all the ads that the live broadcast had. I think these companies are underestimating what we'll put up with on our TV.

What position are you supposed to put your hand in when you compare the lengths? when I face my palm towards myself the 2D's longer, when I face it away or put it flat on a surface they're the same length.

Heh heh. I should probably do that, but it would get messy. I already have separate calendars for Movies, TV Shows, Music, Books, Comics and Video Games. I'm running out of distinct colors.

Ah, the dream of a snowman with snow arms. Only Calvin can attain such greatness.

Heh heh, Yukon Trail. I'm having flashbacks. Linda broke her ankle again, dammit. Why would anyone build a raft? And who can resist buying the kittens. Good times. And to think, I was so pissed off when my mom bought me The Yukon Trail thinking it was the same as The Oregon Trail.

Nope, that's the horrible reality of the situation.

It's just my opinion but I don't think well-cast Asian actors could have made the movie enjoyably.

Minimalistic Text is the bomb. It's fantastically lite... and that's really all I ask for.

I try hard to keep that attitude whenever I hear about adaptations. If we get a good adaptation that's great, but in the end the original still exists and I still love it.

The Last Airbender is a good example of how nerd-rage can go in the totally wrong direction. I understand that many people felt this was the big issue with this movie, but I'm quite sure that it's failure had more to do with it's insanely bad script rather than the casting. It bombed despite the rants, not because of

I went and bought the whole series in hardcover. That must have helped. It certainly put a dent in my bank account.

As a force it shouldn't be dismissed, and I think it is ignored by many acclaimed filmmakers and other too-successful people. Buuuut, nerd-rage can destroy potentially inspired ideas based on little more than a rough concept or a fuzzy behind-the-scenes photo. All the power to the nerds, they do a great job policing

My brother-in-law has this classy statuette of Mary-Jane casually being awful. I hate him for it.
