But looking back, Corvettes have always been in the same place among other sports cars. Near-supercar performance, relatively affordable price tag, meh interior.

I doubt anyone who has any McLaren is all that worried about what a Corvettecan do (if they don’t also own a Corvette themselves).

Half the price? lol Was that serious? The speedtail has a MSRP of $2.2 MILLION. I’m not really a betting man, but I would bet literally everything I have and will ever have that the C8 will be less than 1/4 of the price lol

Turbineguy approves. Not sure how a wastegate helps eliminate lag on a turboshaft though. The lag comes from inertia of the rotating assembly, which doesn’t respond quickly to throttle changes like a piston engine does.
