One of my dad’s side hustles when I was growing up was delivering newspapers. I used to help him out doing the Sunday papers and there were a few times we got hassled by cops (his route went through the fancy part of town). I still have no idea how you can call yourself a cop and not realize this is someone who is

Go figure that Robert Evans would have seen something of himself in Billy Baldwin, a talentless  pretty boy

So the Ava Gardner-canoodling producer is for sure Robert Evans—the legendary “kid stays in the picture” story is about the movie The Sun Also Rises, in which they costarred

Someone driving around tossing papers onto porches, what could that be?

The delivery guy shouldn’t even have to file a complaint. The cop committed at least a couple of crimes. Misuse of 911 in a non-emergency is a misdemeanor in most places. Seems he probably lied in his reports, too, but I don’t know if that would rise to the crime of “filing” a false report. Anyway, he’s definitely a

Phew, thank goodness he’s put it behind him.  Wouldn’t want him having any self reflection.

Ed Troyer defeated 32-year veteran of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and former president of the Pierce County Deputy Sheriff’s Guild (06-15) Lieutenant Cyndie Fajardo in the November 2020 general election following the retirement 0f Paul Pastor.

When are people going to get tired of spending money on this shit. Is racism so important that you are willing to blow millions of

Cam and Mitchell (Modern Family)

Larry and Balki from the 80s TV show Perfect Strangers. Anybody here remember them?

Cool. Then the prosecution can also use Chauvin’s past history too, right?

Now playing

You can like these two even if you have issues with the show as a whole:

If I were Chauvin’s lawyer, I don’t know that I would want to call attention to the fact that something very similar had happened to the victim just a year before and police had managed to control the situation without killing anybody.

I just started rewatching Silicon Valley, which reminded me of another great odd couple:

(Awful, pedantic nerd voice) Arya is not the youngest of the Stark kids. That would be Rickon. Someone fired, blunder, so forth.

He explains in the first vid that there was a car squatting on the corner that he had to try to pull around.  Then the car left during the faceoff.

There is some precedent for this.
