As someone who used to care a lot about the lore, these aren't bad ideas for spin offs.  But I just have no interest anymore after that last season, I'm surprised HBO is this confident frankly.

A few months ago Eddie Redmayne, while making it clear he disagreed with Rowling’s transphobia and is appalled by all the hatred for trans people worldwide, said he also thinks some of the vitriol towards her went too far, and Sam Barsanti was all “Bothsidesism!” and stuff.

This is tough. On one hand activism should always be encouraged, but on the other we’ve seen so many charitable/activist orgs go the wrong way. Money doesn’t get to the people they’re supposed to be helping, or the org cares more about its own PR, etc.
