Complementary suggestion: Leave your tv on, but only on a channel that explicitly has no inauguration coverage. Whether you watch what’s on or not is less important that bringing the ratings down – which is all that matters to the rancid, tangerine sex–offending dolt.

Not sure how accurate this is, but I’ve seen some people on twitter saying its better to leave your tv tuned to anything else, since ratings are calculated in part by percentage. I would love if another channel had the balls to air something obviously contrarian that we could give our numbers to instead.

I’m going to not watch it also, instead turning my channels to anything else. If people tune out completely, Drumph’s ratings will show a higher percentage of the watching public. If people tune into other things entirely, the percentage of viewers as shown in the ratings will be much lower.

Also! But the lack of “stars” at this thing must REALLY chafe our Grand Cheezwizard, which delights my vicious heart.

We’re planning a little ditch day morning at my work to get away from the Trump supporters who may be watching it on their computers. We’ll have a midweek brunch, commiserate, and NOT watch that shit.

I cling to the heartening info that there will be six times as many busses full of protesters and marchers than there will be of attendees.
