The chances of him ever earning an average MLB salary are quite low. MLB averages are heavily weighted by post-arbitration salaries of veterans who have played 6 or more years in the MLB, a stage that the vast majority of prospects never reach.

A very, very small percentage of prospects go on to have 10 year careers. And doing so would be considered a lot better than mildly successful.
