I don’t understand how the holdout juror in the oregon wildlife case was replaced for bias but this guy who states that he cannot consider a guilty verdict remains empanelled.

I know I shouldn’t try to parse these sorts of letters too hard, because they’re trying to be formal and so the word choice can be constricted and not connote what it might otherwise.
I mean, the cop claimed on the stand to have truly been in fear and believed in the heat of the moment that Mr. Scott had stolen his taser. If I had to guess, this juror seems to have settled on “I can’t actually figure out what was in his mind so that’s reasonable doubt,” when in reality the videotape is so clear…
Although I don’t have a medical degree and am a man, I’ve decided to pursue a head OB/GYN role since I spent the most formative parts of my life in utero. You’re an inspiration to us all, Dr. Carson.
“Axel Grose.”
Stupid hat? Check.

It could set a precedent that you need your parent’s permission to have any medical procedure preformed. Let’s be clear- they’re targeting both trans rights and women’s rights.
“I’m also taking this action for the benefit of all parents and families, who may be facing the same violation of their rights—”
“I want to destroy you for your own good. Why can’t you see that, you ungrateful little shit that I effectively disowned.”
That’s 33x more than many of the other polls. Plus they published articles like these:
Hello: Environmental sciences person here. Fish kills like this seem to disturb people but its not that uncommon and happens in usually more boring ways, like a bunch of tree debris or something falls into a stream after storm and uses up all the oxygen in the decay process, turning the water body hypoxic until it…
Silver constantly warned that this election was different given the volatility in the polls and the large amount of undecided voters. He also warned that there was a significant possibility that Trump would win the Electoral College, but would lose the popular vote. Nate Cohn at the Upshot, however, was completely…
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if the polls were correct but they caused enough complacency that people just didn’t turn out. Both sides got less votes than the last election, the difference was that Trump only lost ~500k while Hillary was down ~5m.
Nate Silver’s model was the only one which gave Trump a good chance of winning. Take it up with the Huffington Post and Sam Wang; they gave Clinton close to a 99% chance of winning....
No it didn’t. The assumption that votes don’t matter in a democracy, fueled by idiots who think that the smartest position in any argument is Nihilism, is what got people there.
And when we want to impeach President Trump, because of some blatant conflict of interest — like starting up Trump University again — which you know we will want to, we won’t be able to.
The Republicans have a full majority in every single branch of government at almost every single level.
Always thought I’d see fascism come to America in a cool way. Like Nazis from the moon descending to earth in giant swastika-shaped spaceships or maybe shock troops from Russia parachuting into my high school like the villains in Red Dawn.
