Somewhere out there on 10's of 1000's of acres of ranch land, Ted Turner sits. And waits.

Maybe my only regret over not having kids is that I was never able to lie to them like this. I can only do it with my wife, and that doesn’t work as often. She did, however, believe that bilirubin was named after the scientist who discovered it: Dr William Rubin.

Oh god that poor kid.  Did nothing wrong and his life is changed forever.  Wonder if Coward was at a point where he shouldn’t have been driving in general and no one had intervened.

PART time.

And in another twist, our next president is... George W. Bush!

Nominating Ken but not Barbie is stupid and fits perfectly with the theme of the movie.

To each their own!

I am.

On the Beach is such a great album.

Some great stuff here to be sure, but this list does reinforce my impression that 1974 was not a peak year for classic rock but one step down from the peak. It’s the moment the royalty from the 60s had started their decline and just before the genre redefined itself with punk. I would basically see 1974 rock as

“Cast me, I’m Irish.”

A development that no one saw coming except everyone.
