From what I can see from my Bernie bro Facebook friends, it’s just a lot of “The DNC rigged the primary, if they hadn’t this wouldn’t have happened and Bernie would be President!”

Whatever happened to that server between Trump’s campaign that was shown regularly pinging Russian servers, showing constant communication? Did that just get swept away in the constant rush of toilet water that is the news from this administration?

As soon as the headline flashed on my fucking watch I went to the NY Times and skimmed the story. From my quick reading it says that no one has substantiated anything untoward in the calls by the then incoming administration. That said, I am waiting for “LOCK HIM UP! LOCK HIM UP!” chants.

It is becoming harder to read a story about the current administration without the words “Trump” and “Russia” in close proximity to each other. With all these international crisis going, what is our brand new Sec of State up to these days? He got confirmed then turned invisible.

This is exactly why I haven’t seen the Best Picture nominations from the past 10-20 years. Most of the plotlines were white guy-centric. I can’t identify, and I don’t care anymore.

This can be easily substantiated by reviewing the changes in the repub party platform last summer. Someone in the trump campaign forced a change about Russia and the Ukraine (iirc). And then when it was noticed, nobody owned up to the change. It should have been clear then, but hey, had to keep things close and…

I’ve got to tell you, if I look down a list of characters on a film, and it doesn’t have gay, African-American or Latin characters, I’m probably not going to spend my money on the ticket. I’m going to be real honest with you. I see enough of the homogeneity, and I don’t need to support it with my dollar.
