This does not sound like a magic trick.
I totally agree, although I’m somewhat hopeful that this absurd Republican overreach, combined with the idiotic antics of Donald, will lead to a Democratic wave in 2018. On the other hand, they can do a lot of damage before 2018, and even then there’s no guarantee that people will vote Democrat.
Racism is also a thing, should IMDB not include pictures? Or spousal information that might suggest or confirm that you are gay? These biases are no less real as a problem for actors than ageism.
I don’t get why imdb is fighting this so hard.
its about precedent though, no?
Because it’s a really weird targeting of them and only them. That law is designed to go after them specifically and they’re right to fight against that.
Maybe O.J. can help him find that evidence.
There are actually decent reasons to list biological sex, mostly medical ones. As much as it might bother some people, there are actual important differences between male and female bodies that can dictate health concerns and treatments....so yes, I don’t have a problem denoting sex on a birth certificate.
All for a relationship that’ll be over by the end of the school year.
As a straight woman with a long and storied history of having platonic straight male friends, what you describe has not been my experience 95% of the time. In fact, far more of my time and emotional energy towards men has been devoted to friendly relations rather than romantic, which leaves me in this outlier space…
Never had that experience with male friends. They were always just my homies. But, everyone experiences women and men differently in society. I see your argument.
Honestly, it sounds like it’s whimpering “Help me” and begging for the sweet release of death.
I honestly don’t think it’s too harsh a sentence... as someone said above, HIV will be around in someone’s body for a lot longer than 30 years, if it doesn’t kill them first.
Okay, consider the events from Tilda Swinton’s perspective....
Cho was publicly criticizing Swinton and Swinton is barred from talking to her about it? That’s some next level bullshit.
No one said it was her job. Tilda asked if it was ok, very politely. Cho accepted. You can’t just absolve her of the words she said after that because she shouldn’t have accepted in the first place. How would you suggest Tilda gain knowledge on the subject?
Cho has made herself one of the main voices of this debate and was publicly criticizing the movie and Swinton. If someone does that, they can’t then claim that if someone wants to talk about it with them that they are being turned to as the only Asian in the room. She has set herself up as an expert on this issue for…
That sounds a lot like semantics.
Yeah, and yours sounded a lot like the pokemon theme song lyric. “Fuck honor” sure does say a lot about you, though.
