“It misses the point that the purpose of personal injury suits like these is to try and make someone who after they have been hurt by someone else,”

This has nothing to do with the law. Logically, morally, ethically AND legally, the theater as not at fault.

Your insistence that they are bad people is completely off the mark. Your entire argument about them and me being assholes is dependent on them being at fault for what happened and they are not.

Well why else do you doubt what I’m saying? Why do you insist on thinking I’m other than what I say?

I’ not diminishing what they want, I understand why they want a large amount. I’m diminishing WHO they want it FROM.

Again, how am I an asshole for recognizing fact? The theater was not at fault. How am I an asshole for

Sorry you seem to think everyone in the world is looking to blame people who are not at fault for the things that happen to them.

I’d be pissed if that’s all I was offered FROM THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE.

The fact that the theater was IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE is the key concept that you can’t seem to grasp here.

Guess what, I wouldn’t have asked for money in the first place because I would know it wasn’t your fault. So when you offer me $20, I will think it’s generous.

I don’t understand why you think it’s sad to hear people being factual.

So what, in order to care about people we have to just give them whatever they want regardless of the facts?

don’t act like the theater is some magnanimous entity for telling people who had lost children, partners, friends, and mobility that $2,000 was generous enough.

But I don’t live there either.

But I don’t live there either.

Sure, but that’s a lot of work!

If only I could get real oj living somewhere other than Florida...

I actually love the cheesy commentary! Gbaja-Biamila is the best!

Seriously, why would I pay money for that.

Your argument loses a lot of thrust when you can’t string together a simple sentence.

OMG, someone made a grammar mistake on the internet! Surely that means they can’t teach anybody anything. Teachers are perfect and never make mistakes!

Those books I mentioned? Many of them are written by people who have mastered the materials and wrote them specifically for teaching it to other people. You don’t have

And exactly how many homeschool kids are you meeting? I know several and none of them are socially awkward.

If your kids don’t have an opportunity to learn physics because they’re (you’re) more interested in mindfulness, that’s going to tank their SAT scores, without ever really considering whether they might have wanted to try to be an engineer.

Public school teachers are not the only one’s who “know about that stuff”.

I use a waterbed frame even though I don’t have a water bed because it doesn’t have an under the bed. And I bought both of my kids captains beds.
