Except back then they didn't have the transpertation that we have today so a world wide was impossible but a community wide is. So the fact that people living in such close quarters and communities managed to survive is something special.

if you assume that everyone is already infected and that if you die you will turn into a zombie there certinlly are ways to prevent it.

Enjoy FF for now and then switch back around December to give FF a break. That's what i've been doing with MMOs now. I find only playing 1 MMO burns me out and I need to take a break.

oh yeah CZ198 i forgot about that one. Yeah they have added a TON of new content. More then most MMOs I can think of.

500 is a bit much but they have added 2 new explorable planets this year with a 3rd to come latter.

as others pointed out EA has been supporting the game suprisingly. There is new content added every 6 to 8 weeks and its some pretty significant content. In the past 6 months they added 3 new end game raids, 2 new planets, 3 new daily areas, 2 new dungeons, a new live event, and a new PVP arena system.

I played it on the PC but you are right the original was amazing. The whole planing phase was so cool and so much fun. The multiplayer was great too.
