I totally hear ya and wish for the same things... I want my story games and want em from bioware; just wish the corporate overlords weren’t so wrapped up in what the newest fad was - then deliver on it 1 year or so too late! Even though they can see what’s worked and what hasn’t, I have my fill of online co-ops.

They have multiple divisions, DA will still be forthcoming; ME, I dunno but really hope so! I enjoy Andromeda, despite consumer complaints! I might like this because the combat looks solid and super similar to Andromeda, which has some of the best combat available IMO.

I know exactly what you mean. Don’t worry about sounding dumb or being embarrassed. We have intimate connections with our stories; it’s part and parcel of being human. As a story person, games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect resonated with me because of the stories and the people in them.

I’ve been there, you shouldn’t be embarrassed. It’s not like you left your husband for a fictional character, the fictional character just jolted you into realizing what you deserved in real life.

Man, it’s crazy to think back on Dragon Age Origins now. What are the odds we’ll get another DA:O type RPG from an AAA developer these days? CD Projet Red, sort of, but not really. I dunno, feels like mainstream gaming is leaving me behind.

I’m just baffled at this. Bioware making a game that’s not an RPG is just... mindboggling. They’re one of the few devs with a strong pedigree in a single genre like that, to just so totally abandon it... yikes.

Same, for the first time in my life I’m not even remotely interested in getting a Bioware game. I don’t like how that feels.

Yeah, this looks like what I was afraid it would be. Seems like a major waste of BioWare’s talents.

I was really hoping it wouldn’t be another Destiny/Warframe wannabe. Screw multiplayer co-op stuff. I want single player RPG’s. I want some Bioware in my Bioware games!
