What I am proposing is to drop the feature from both Series X and Series S in order to meet the feature parity requirement.  Instead of delaying the game to make it work on Series S, you gimp both versions a bit to get it out the door.  Then once you get it working on Series S, you patch both consoles.

Splitscreen co-op is such a niche category at this stage of video games, wouldn’t it make sense to just drop the feature from the Series X so you can get it out the door.  Word of mouth, website coverage, advertisements will all lead to the biggest possible sales right now.  If they wait 6 months just to get parity,…
