I imagine you could get around that by having developers register for an account to access the database. That would limit access to it and ensure that people providing the scam email addresses are legitimate as well. Who knows, it was just a thought I had. The world is always going to be full of assholes though.
I’m curious how hard it would be to set up an searchable online database for the fake emails. It would probably take a bit of work to keep up with, but could be really helpful to indie developers.
